Linton Heights triumph at Year 3/4 Kwik Cricket

Linton Heights claim the title of South Cambs Champions 2015

Nine schools from across South Cambs came together at the wonderful setting of Caldecote Cricket Club for the Partnerships final competition of the school year; Year 3/4 Kwik Cricket. Kwik cricket is played in mixed teams and is very inclusive with each team member having to bowl 1 over per match and bat for 2 overs as well as field and support their team mates.

The competition was organised into pools of 3 with teams playing the other 2 teams in their group in a round robin format. Steeple Morden, Thriplow A and Linton Heights were the clear winners of their groups winning all of their matches.

The overall winners thanks to some really strong batting and bowling performances and a great team sprit were Linton Heights Junior School who finished with a score of 108 and claimed the title of South Cambs Champions 2015. Steeple Morden finished as runners up again with a good team performance and an overall score of 72.
