To tie in with the work we have been doing this year at our competitions and events to link in with the School Games Values we are running a competition encouraging children to create a poster which reflects “What do the Spirit of the Games values mean to you?”.

The competition is open to all children and young people in Key Stages 2 & 3 and the designs can be up to A2 in size using any of the following mediums: pencil crayons, paint, markers, pencil or mixed media.

All five School Sport Partnerships in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough are holding their own competition with prizes on offer for the winning entries. The top 3 entries from each Partnership will then go forward to be displayed at the Level 3 Summer School Games Festival on 30th June 2016 where an overall county winner will be chosen.

The closing date for entries is Wednesday 8th June 2016, giving children the half term break to finish their designs and submit their entries.

Further information and details on how to enter can be found here. We are really looking forward to receiving your posters and seeing what the Spirit of the Games Values mean to the children in your schools.
