FOR ALL, TARGETED, COMPETITIVE

All of our events will follow our new event themes; For All, Targeted & Competitive. These themes have been designed to ensure we provide events to benefit all young people.

FOR ALL– These events are for everyone and are delivered in school. They focus on providing 60 active mins for every child whilst supporting their physical, social and emotional wellbeing.

TARGETED– These events target specific groups of young people who would benefit the most from having positive experiences of sport, physical activity and competition. The activities and outcomes are designed to reflect the young people’s needs and motivations.

COMPETITIVE– These events are for pupils who are ready and prepared for competition and enjoy performing and competing against others. They provide the opportunity for competition in a positive and friendly environment where the focus is on enjoyment and supporting the wider development of young people as much as the outcome of the event itself.

This is a TARGETED event for children with Special Educational Needs or a Disability with the intent of engaging new audiences in physical activity and sport.  

We are excited to include this event to our calendar again this year, it is specifically aimed at Key Stage 2 pupils in either mainstream or special schools with special educational needs or a disability. The events are open to any child on the SEN register.

Children will play one game of ten pin which last roughly 1 hour 15mins. There will be a presentation with medals and certificates following the competition.

Schools can enter a team of 6 children into the event which will take place at Cambridge Ten Pin. If you have less than 6 children please let us know and we will see if we can join you with another school. 

Team Size:                                             6 children

Maximum Teams per school:       1 (there may be an option for schools to enter a 2nd team at the cost of £27, if you would like to do this please let us know by email)

Maximum entries available:         10 teams

Deadline for entries:                      12th November
