Team Building Activity days, Making a Difference!

Primary schools in South Cambs have been experiencing fun filled, action packed Team Building Activity Days. Selected classes have spent the whole day learning how to work in a team, understanding the importance of team work qualities such as tolerance, determination, patience, respect, honesty, working together and self-belief.

Working in groups, children have been challenged with problem solving activities which they must work at together in order to succeed. Activities have included Charlotte’s Web, Shepherd & Sheep, Walk the Plank and Crossing the Swamp.

Feedback:

Year 6 pupil – ‘I really enjoyed Charlotte’s Web as it was an activity I had never done before. It was fun and challenging and we had to talk to each other and work as a team to get everyone through the web.’

Year 5 pupil – ‘I liked Shepherd & Sheep because we were blindfolded and could only communicate with a whistle.’

Year 3 teacher – ‘it has definitely had a positive effect on my class’s ability to relate to one another and their concept of what a team is. It was a fantastic experience for them.’

We look forward to working with more schools to bring a new challenge to their children.
