Swavesey take top spot in B team netball finals
Yesterday saw the end to this year’s netball competitions, with the rescheduled B team tournament at Impington Village College. We had 15 schools and approximately 150 pupils taking part in the competition. The standard of netball across all of the courts was extremely high and all of the pupils played with great team spirit and respect for each other. After the first round of matches the winners of each pool, who were all unbeaten in their first matches, were Meridian, Milton, Swavesey and Pendragon and they all moved into Division 1 for the final round of matches. After a very competitive series of matches, Swavesey remained unbeaten to take home the B team trophy with Milton primary in the runners up slot. The competition was supported by a group of fantastic sports leaders from Impington Village College who umpired all of the matches. A very big well done to all schools and pupils who took part.
