Active Learning Course – Classroom Practice and Interventions

This course will focus on understanding the importance of movement development for learning, introduce the delegates to activities and interventions for handwriting, active English, active maths and consider how to incorporate active learning into all subjects. The course will provide an introduction to active learning strategies and pedagogy.

Delegates will:

  • Understand why active learning is important in children’s development and achievement
  • Experience and explore active learning strategies for handwriting, English & Maths
  • Understand how to apply active learning principles across all subjects and consider its impact on behaviour and classroom practice.

 

Aimed At: KS1 and KS2 teachers who would like to explore a more active and multi-sensory approach to teaching English & Maths.
