Another new Young Coach Academy cohort
This year’s County Young Coach Academy was launched on 13th October at Anglia Ruskin University with 28 amazing young coaches taking part in the programme.
These young people are the coaching workforce of the future and our aim is to provide them with the skills, knowledge and understanding to become the best coaches they can and our partnership with ARU means that each young coach has a mentor to help them achieve their goals.
It has been a packed programme from the start for these young coaches with their initial welcome meeting being followed by a day’s training during half term where they completed a practical coaching session to understand the importance of communication and organisation and practice their own delivery skills.
Their next workshop is a Using Tech in Coaching workshop where they will look at how the most commonly used apps and websites can be used to support and improve their coaching.
We will have more workshops booked for the New Year and are looking forward to continuing to work with these young coaches over the coming year and see them grow in to high quality young coaches.
